I set up my legal translation agency at the beginning of 2014 and, in that same year, I was sworn in by the Rotterdam Court of Justice<\/a>\u00a0and added to the register of the\u00a0Sworn Court Interpreters and Translators<\/a>\u00a0(Bureau Wbtv).<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Training” admin_label=”Training” _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_margin=”||20px|” saved_tabs=”all” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n As a\u00a0sworn translator<\/a>, I must renew my registration every five years. I do this by following courses and trainings for which I receive the Permanent Education Points necessary for the renewal. In 2019, after finishing the course Legal Translation EN-NL\/NL-EN<\/a>\u00a0by the Legal Aid Board<\/a>, the renewal of my registration was approved for another 5 years.
