A birth certificate<\/a> is a written proof that you declared the birth of your child with the municipality within three days of its birth. This can be easily done online. You will need a DigiD to do so. If you don\u2019t have a DigiD yet, you can apply for one online<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The cost for the certified translation of a standard Dutch birth certificate is 70.00 <\/strong>euros<\/strong> including VAT. If your birth certificate includes a subsequent entry regarding acknowledgement, the costs are 75.00 euros <\/strong>including VAT. These amounts are exclusive of an apostille or a legalisation stamp or recorded delivery costs. You can also pick up the certified translation by appointment<\/a>.
