Last will
and testament

You draw up a last will and testament to record all your wishes that you want to have arranged after your death. You do this together with the civil-law notary, who discusses possible arrangements after your death with you, for example regarding your estate and who your heirs are.

Provisions

Reference in the last will and testament is made, for example, to:

the revocation of previous wills and the applicable law
the appointment of heirs/beneficiaries
the administration executor with limited powers
the legacies/bequests
the exclusion clause
provisions in the case of a partner’s simultaneous death

Notary interpreter

As an English interpreter and a certified English translator, I assist you when you discuss your last will and testament and during its execution. You will need two appointments for this. During the first appointment, the civil-law notary discusses with you what you want to lay down in your will. During the second appointment, the civil-law notary will briefly go through the final version of your will, after which you sign the will.
